United Methodist Women
The organized unit of the UMW shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

United Methodist Men
The fellowship of UMM is a creative support group of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually, and to seek His will daily.

Youth Ministries
Through sound Biblical teaching, mission work, Worship, and fellowship with other believers, we strive to impact the lives of our youth so that they may experience the power of God in their lives and thereby further the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their homes, schools, and community.

Music Ministries
The Music Ministry at First United Methodist Church of Fox Hill is a dynamic ministry for persons from 3 years of age to senior citizens. We offer a graded choir program that encourages the youngest child to begin learning about their voice; the elementary-aged child to begin reading music and leading worship; the adolescent to explore different musical styles as he or she leads worship; and the adult singer to lead sung liturgy and congregational singing in worship each Sunday.

Evangelism Committee

Adult Ministries
Currently this ministry is focused on ages 18-49 years and conducts a monthly movie night generally on the third Friday each month at 7 P.M. in the fellowship hall.  Program includes a Christian based movie followed by a short discussion after the show.  The videos after the viewing are available for individuals to check out.  Popcorn and soft drinks are provided and there is no cost for this event.  At this time childcare is not provided.  Throughout the year this ministry will combine with other ministries to include other age groups, so watch the Church calendar for these special combined events.

Stephen Ministries Testimonials...A great part of Stephen Ministry is grief support.  We have a set of four booklets that we send to grieving loved ones during the first year after a loss.  The books are titled A Time to Grieve, Experiencing Grief, Finding Hope and Healing, and Rebuilding and Remembering.  Family members are encouraged to share the books with others who can benefit from their message.  Following is a testimonial from one of the recipients.

-“Did I tell you we now send my book to another in-law? When our nephew passed his wife is getting them and getting a lot of comfort from them.”

Shawl Ministry:
In 2006, Women s Division asked each local unit of UMW to donate shawls which would be displayed at the Assembly in Anaheim, CA and then given to organizations around the country which ministered to women, children, and youth. Twelve women gathered in the Edith Spencer Classroom of First Fox Hill to make shawls.  Of the twelve, five were total beginners but picked up needles and went on to knit, sew, and/or crochet shawls.  We sent the first five of these shawls to Women s Division in New York and they were put on display along with the name of our church in Anaheim.  The women enjoyed themselves so much that they have continued to meet each Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.   To date, in addition to the five sent to WD, 32 shawls have been given out and more are being completed.  Along with each shawl is a small note that simply says the shawl has been knit by the Ladies of First Fox Hill with pray for warmth, love, and comfort. The shawls are prayed over, blessed, and given to persons who we feel need a good hug for whatever reason. They are given with love and blessings and many good stories have come from the gifts.  They have also been a way of spreading God s love to everyone who comes in contact with a recipient. The ministry is open to all, men, women, youth, United Methodist or not.  Come join us on Wednesday mornings, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
