Eternal God, my beginning and my ending, my light by day and lamp by night, who shapes the ways for me to go and clears the paths for me to take. Teach me that I may live by love – not at my pace, but yours. I hurry; I judge the cover; I read the ending first, but you call me back to the beginning. Guide my life over the contours of your Word that I may learn your ways, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
